One of eighteen mosaic tiles made by individual artists that together constitute The Tree of Life Synagogue Memorial Mosaic Project. The collaborative project is being exhibited in multiple sites until the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, its permanent site, has been restored. This tile was made with photo transfers of the three original buildings that housed the synagogue, copper beads, slate, wood, and fossils found in the Monongahela River in Pittsburgh.
